Mastra launched a public cloud beta in June and adopted the Apache 2.0 license in July, easing commercial adoption. In October it announced $13M in seed funding and about 190,000 weekly npm downloads. The company named Replit, SoftBank, PayPal, and Adobe among organizations building with it. Its focus was broadening from quick prototypes to production deployment and quality.

Mastra released 1.0 in January, then kept expanding memory, observability, and agent development. On April 9 it announced a $22M Series A led by Spark Capital and launched Mastra Platform, including Studio, Server, and Memory Gateway. The offering now paired a free open-source framework with paid production infrastructure.

Mastra launched a program combining enterprise platform access with hands-on engineering support, aiming to get customer agents into production within 90 days. The company said tens of thousands of organizations were building with Mastra, although many still had not deployed. The service extends monetization beyond platform features to implementation support.
